UCB Jiu Jitsu is open to all HE students of any ability. Whether you have participated in Jiu Jitsu previously, or would like to take up a new sport. The society trains at the Maltings Sports Hall twice per week.
Membership costs £50 for the year, which includes training costs, insurance, your TJJF Licence and entry to two national events.
We provide a team tee early in the year, and you'll have the chance to buy personlised kit in the near future. This is optional, so don't feel under pressure to do this.

You will be required to bring with you, or buy a Gi. Costs can vary however our committee and Sensei can advise you. This isn't compulsory for the first few weeks, but you will need one to compete in competitions and gradings.
Upon registration to the team, please complete read the Code of Conduct (in the resources section) and complete the UCB Team Sports - Registraion Questionnaire. This is compulsory and includes medical information, tee shirt sizing and code of conduct agreement.
You will also need to complete a TJJF Licence Form this should be completed online and a copy sent to your Sensei and s.harwin@ucb.ac.uk. UCB will only pay for your licence once membership payment, and registration questionnaire are completed.
