UCB Football is open to all HE students of any ability. Whether you have played football previously, or would like to take up a new sport. The team trains weekly with a qualified coach and welcomes new members at the Avery Fields on Monday evenings. As well as playing football, the team has an active social side.
Membership costs £100 for the year, which includes training costs, insurance and competition entry. The first team currently competes in the BUCS league and a developmental team in the Birmingham FA Universities League (matches on Wednesdays).

We provide playing kit and team tee early in the year, and you'll have the chance to buy personlised kit in the near future. This is optional, so don't feel under pressure to do this. Our home matches are played on a 4G pitch, so make sure your boots are suitbale for this. You will need to provide your own playing socks - white is the colour of choice.
You will need to have a FA Number so we can allocate you to our team, however there is no cost for this.
Your membership fee includes insurance, coaching and travel to fixtures.
Upon registration to the team, please complete read the Code of Conduct (in the resources section) and complete the UCB Team Sports - Registraion Questionnaire. This is compulsory and includes medical information, tee shirt sizing and code of conduct agreement.
All playing members must also download the BUCS Play app (from the App Store/Google Play Store), register with the sport community and your team.
